A Jersey City woman stabbed another woman in the neck Sunday evening after a fistfight escalated, authorities said.
Moesha Robinson, 23, was arrested shortly after the woman was stabbed in front of 322 Pacific Ave. in Jersey City at 6:55 p.m., Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
She was charged with aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and four counts of bail-jumping.
pon arrival, Jersey City police officers located a 24-year-old woman with a life-threatening stab wound to her neck, Wallace-Scalcione said. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
Officers immediately located and arrested Robinson, Wallace-Scalcione said.
According to the criminal complaint, Robinson had been kicked out of the dollar-store there after getting into a fistfight with two people inside and then she returned with a knife to continue the physical confrontation.
